The features and functions in the application are based on user roles. Each user may belong to one or more roles. Each role may have multiple users.
In the DLMO main page select SIM Board folder.
Select SIM SF.
SIMSF meeting is performed for each Department enabled for the SIM process (see par. 4.4.2). SIMSF meeting is between 15 and 20 minutes and usually is done at the start of daily activities, on the data of the previous working day.
In SIMSF board the KPI's granularity is day: KPI values and target are input daily by the user or calculated by DLMO.
The visualization of detailed KPIs is rolling for the last 7 days, not considering the day selected for the SIMSF.
To enter in a SIMSF, it is necessary to select the Department. DLMO pre-sets the current date (it can be changed.
KPIs (Overview, visible at the start, and Details, visible when a category is selected)
Custom Pareto and Safety Cross for the Department and Safety Cross for the Plant.
A list of open actions (not closed by raiser) assigned to the SIMSF or having the raiser or the action owner associated with the Department of the SIMSF, having due date passed or expiring in 5 days.
In SIMSF board KPIs can be:
inserted at day level (on each of the last week days)
imported from Excel (directly in the SIM or from a batch program, see par. 4.21.3)
calculated by DLMO at day level
copied from any of the SIM2, SIM3 or another SIMSF
consolidated (linked) from SIM2
Drilling down in the KPIs opens the KPI details.
In the “Issues” section it is possible to review all the issues, for the specific SIM and for the time filter selected on the top.
Select the Issue.
Select issue view (open, close).
Edit Issue , Create Action, Associate Action.
Associate Action.
Select the Action from the drop-down menu.
In the “Action” section it is possible to review all the actions, for the specific SIM or raised or assigned to users of the department of the SIM, and for the time filter selected on the top. By default, all the open actions already expired or that are expiring in the next 5 days are shown. If there is any open action, the list is empty.
Select Actions.
View actions due in 7 days.
Review the action and associated issues.
Click to create Action.
The “InfoMoment” section shows the pictures and the PDF defined in the configuration.
The “InfoMoment” is automatically shown from each of the SIMSF sections, after a period of inactivity defined in the Plant Parameters section (parameter Screensaver Time (seconds)).
Select InfoMoment.
Change scrolling visualization.
In the External Links section are shown all the links defined in the “External Links” section of Plant Configuration are shown.
Select the External link.
The external links are predefined by the manager in the plant configuration.
In the 5S Checklist section it is possible to compile, if configured, the 5S checklist for the SIMSF.
Select 5S Checklist.
Select Owner.
In the 5S SIMSF Result section it is possible to view the results of the 5S checklist compiled in the last week for the SIMSF of all users of the department.
Open Issue popup.
Enter Issue category, type and priority.
Upload files.
Contextual chat.
Enter Opening and due date, status.
Define Closed Action.
8. Save Issue.
Open Action popup.
Enter KPI category, prod area line.
Upload files.
Contextual chat.
Set action due date, status and assign to a SIM or Gemba.
Select or not "No escalation".
View the Action History Log.
Save.
Edit Action - Escalate to SIM5.
