User Management & Permissions

The features and functions in the application are based on user roles. Each user may belong to one or more roles. Each role may have multiple users.

Introduction

In the DLMO main page select SIM Board folder.

Meeting Management - Main Section

SIM2 meeting is performed for each Production Area. SIM2 meeting is between 15 and 20 minutes and usually is done at the start of daily activities, on the data of the previous working day.

In SIM2 board the KPI's granularity is day: KPI values and target are input daily by the user or calculated by DLMO.

The visualization of detailed KPIs is rolling for the last 7 days, not including the day selected for the SIM2.

  1. Select Production Area.

  2. Selecting the Category , DLMO shows the details for the selected category.

  3. Show Queue (defined in Production Area master file) or External Link.

  4. Check Pareto analysis and enter safety incident by double-clicking on box.

  5. Create Action or Create Issue.

  6. View and drill down on KPIs byclicking on the box.

  7. Linked data are consolidated KPIs from all the shifts of the previous day. Based data can be enter manually by double-clicking in the boxes.

In SIM2 board KPIs can be:

  • inserted at day level (on each of the last week days)

  • imported from Excel (directly in the SIM or from a batch program, see par. 4.21.3)

  • calculated by DLMO at day level

  • copied from another SIM2, SIM3 or a SIMSF

  • consolidated (linked) from SIM1 KPIs of the lines belonging to the Production Area

Meeting Management – KPI Drill Down

Clicking on an overview value for a linked KPI or for a base LDS KPI, a window with a daily summary of each line that belongs to the Production Area is displayed..

Meeting Management – Enter KPIs by Category

  1. Select the KPI category.

  2. Select a KPI area to open the detail.

  3. You can manually enter values if required.

Meeting Management - Issues

In the “Issues” section it is possible to review all the issues, for the specific SIM and for the time filter selected on the top.

  1. Select the Issue.

  2. Select issue view.

  3. Edit Issue , Create Action, Associate Action

  4. Create Issue.

  1. Associate Action.

  2. Select the Action from the drop-down menu.

Meeting Management – Actions for SIM2

  1. Select Actions.

  2. Change the deful in 5 days.

  3. Escalate to SIM3 or edit action.

  4. Create a new action.

Meeting Management – Dept Attendance

In Attendance it is possible to track which department is attending the SIM. Departments shown are the ones selected in “Attendance” configuration for the Production Area related to the SIM2.

  1. Select Attendance.

  2. Select the attendance per user.

  3. Review last 7 days rolling (view image on bottom).

Meeting Management – Walk By

In the “Walk by” section it is possible to track the “Walk by” (attendance list for SIM auditors), adding new rows, or editing/deleting the existing rows.

It is possible to track more than one row.

  1. Select Walk-by.

  2. Select edit to insert a new Row.

  3. Enter user name and update.

  4. There is a view available for the “Walk by” info for the last 7 days. It is possible to toggle between the 2 views (daily, editable, and weekly, view only).

Meeting Management – InfoMoment

The “InfoMoment” section shows the pictures and the PDF defined in the configuration

The “InfoMoment” is automatically shown from each of the SIM2 sections, after a period of inactivity defined in the Plant Parameters section (parameter Screensaver Time (seconds)).

  1. Select InfoMoment.

  2. Change scrolling visualization.

Meeting Management – KPI Excel Update

It is possible to import the data with an Excel file in the “Excel Update” page.

  1. Select KPI Excel Update.

  2. It is necessary to download the template, fill the data and upload the file with the new values. It is possible to import the data with an Excel file.

In the External Links section all the links defined in the “External Links” section of Plant Configuration are shown.

Meeting Management – 5S Result

In the 5S SIM3 Results page it is possible to view the results of SIM1 5S checklists, consolidated by plant.

Meeting Management - eIdeas

The “InfoMoment” section shows the pictures and the PDF defined in the configuration.

The “InfoMoment” is automatically shown from each of the SIM2 sections, after a period of inactivity defined in the Plant Parameters section (parameter Screensaver Time (seconds)).

The “Info Moment” section shows the pictures and the PDF defined in the configuration (see par. 4.4.9 for details).

  • Select eIdeas.

  • Filters on top of the screen allow the user to apply further selections, over the main one related to the time:

    • OPEN: all eIdeas excluding implemented or rejected

    • MY SUBMITTED: eIdeas submitted by the logged user

    • MY APPROVAL: eIdeas waiting for the approval of the logged user (as action owner, as direct manager or as key user)

    • MY ACTION: eIdeas having the logged user as action owner and in “Implementing” status

    • CLOSED: eIdeas implemented or rejected

    • DELETED: all deleted eIdeas

    • ALL: all eIdeas (deleted excluded)

Meeting Management – Create/Edit Issue

  1. Open Issue popup.

  2. Enter KPI category and existing Barrier.

  3. Upload files.

  4. Contextual chat.

  5. Enter Opening and due date, status.

  6. Define action.

  7. Enter Action details.

  8. Save Issue.

Meeting Management – Create/Edit Action

  1. Open Action popup.

  2. Enter Action details.

  3. Upload files.

  4. Contextual chat.

  5. Set action due date, status and assign to a SIM or Gemba.

  6. Define whether to escalate or not.

  7. Save.
