Introduction

5s is the module to set and execute 5S checklist

Select S5 to configure the questions

• Questions: The settings for the 5S checklist are done in Plant configuration.

• Question Configuration: Review the questions.

Plant Configuration Tab – 5S – Questions

There are 2 families of checklists:

1. Shop Floor checklist, to be executed in SIM1.

2. Office checklist, to be executed by employees of Support Function departments.

Plant Configuration Tab – 5S – How to Add Questions

1. Select Add Question.

2. In the form add the Description of the question and the category from the drop down. Flag as an active question.

Plant Configuration Tab – 5S – Questions Configuration per each SIM after creation

In this section it is possible to configure the 5S checklist for SIM 1 and SIM SF boards:

• SIM1 Questions Configuration

• SIM1 Image Configuration

• SIMSF Questions Configuration

• SIMSF Image Configuration

Plant Configuration Tab – 5S – SIM1 Questions Configuration

For SIM1 Questions Configuration, 2 views are available:

• SIM1 Questions Configuration - by Line, which allows you to configure up to two plant’s plant-specific questions for each line.

• SIM1 Questions Configuration - by Question, which allows you to configure a plant-specific question for one or more lines.

In the section SIM1 Questions Configuration - by Line, it is possible to configure one or two plant’s specifics questions line by line.

All mandatory questions are automatically configured for each line and there is no possibility of dissociating them from the lines (mandatory questions have to be always executed).

In the section SIM1 Questions Configuration - by Questions, it is possible to associate a plant’s specifics question to one or more lines.

It is possible to delete an association by deselecting the question or the line in the page.

Plant Configuration Tab – 5S – SIM1 Image Configuration

For SIM1 Images Configuration it is possible to configure, if needed, one or more images per question.

The configuration is question by question and, for each question, it is possible to associate an image with all configured lines, or to a subset of them.

1. Select a question.

2. Click Upload to associate an image with the selected question.

3. Flag All Lines or a subset of them.

Plant Configuration Tab – 5S – SIMSF Questions Configuration

For SIMSF Questions Configuration, only a single view by Department is available, where it is possible to configure one or two plant’s specific questions department by department.

It is possible to delete an association by deselecting the question in the page.

1. Select a Department and open the dialog SIMSF Plant Questions Configuration by selecting the menu menu

2. Associate the specific questions with the department.

3. Click Save.

Plant Configuration Tab – 5S – SIMSF Image Configuration

For SIMSF Images Configuration it is possible to configure, if needed, one or more images per question.

The configuration is question by question and, for each question, it is possible to associate an image with all configured departments, or a subset of them. For each selected department, it is possible to associate all users of those configured departments or a subset of them.

• Select a question.

• Click Upload to associate an image with the selected question.

• Flag All Departments or a subset of them.

• Flag All Users or a subset of them for the selected Departments.
