Issue Type

Introduction

In Issue Type configuration, it is possible to:

  • Define (or import with an Excel file) the Issue Types that can be declared in SIM 2, SIM 3, SIM 5 and SIM SF, for all the Production Areas (SIM 2), all the Departments (SIM SF) of for a subset of them.

  • Associate the Issue Type with a specific Category.

  • Query the source of the Issue Type.

  • Activate or deactivate the Issue Type.

Plant Configuration - Plant Issue Type Overview

In the Issue Type configuration page, you can configure Issue Types. You can specify the type of issue that occurs on the production line and you can view the source (DLMO or eventual external applications).

  1. View the Issue types.

  2. Click on Edit button to edit the Issue Type.

  3. View Category for Issue Type.

  4. Use the flag to activate all Production Areas.

  5. Use the flag to activate all Departments.

  6. Use the flag to activate the Issue Type

  7. This column shows if the information comes from DLMO or external systems

  8. Click on New button to create a new Issue Type.

  9. Click on Excel Import button to import Issue Types with an Excel file.

Plant Configuration - Create a New Issue Type

  1. Click on New button to create a new Issue Type.

  2. Complete the form in the popup menu.

  3. Choose the Category from the drop-down menu. Categories are set in the Category tab.

  4. Save the Issue Type.

  1. By selecting All Production Area button, you can decide if the Issue Type is associated with all the Production Areas or a subset of Areas.

  2. Select one or more Production Areas in the drop-down menu.

  1. By selecting All Department button, you can decide if the Issue Type is associated with all the Departments or a subset of Departments.

  2. Select one or more Departments in the drop-down menu.

Plant Configuration - Import Issue Types with an Excel file

  1. By selecting Excel Import button, you can import the Issue Types with an Excel file.

  2. In the Issue Type Excel Import dialog, select Download Template to download the Excel Template for importing your data.

  3. Upload the Excel Template with your data.

  4. Click Submit Request button.
