User Management & Permissions

The features and functions in the application are based on user roles. Each user may belong to one or more roles. Each role may have multiple users.

Introduction

In the DLMO main page select SIM Board folder.

Select SIM 5.

Meeting Management

SIM5 meeting is performed monthly at Plant level between managers with a focus on all departments.

SIM5 meeting is between 45 and 90 minutes. In SIM5 board the KPI's granularity is the week: KPI values and target are input by the user or calculated by DLMO. The visualization of detailed KPIs is rolling for the last 7 weeks, not considering the week selected for the SIM5.

The starting day of the week to consider (Sunday or Monday) is defined in the Plant Parameters.

  1. To enter in a SIM5, it is necessary to access the page. DLMO pre-sets the current week (it can be changed).

  2. KPIs (Overview, visible at the start, and Details, visible when a category is selected)

  3. External link button.

  4. Safety Cross for the Plant.

  5. View and drill down on KPIs clicking on the box.

  6. A list of open actions (not closed by raiser) assigned to the SIM5, having due date passed or expiring in 5 days.

  7. Edit an action clicking at the end of the row.

  8. Create Action or Create Issue.

  1. Select the KPI category.

  2. Select a KPI area to open the detail.

  3. You can manually enter values if required.

  1. Select the Issue.

  2. Select issue view (open, close).

  3. Edit Issue , Create Action, Associate Action.

  1. Associate Action.

  2. Select the Action from the drop-down menu.

  1. Select Actions.

  2. View actions due in 7 days.

  3. Review the action and associated issues.

  4. Click to create Action.

  5. Edit Action - Escalate to SIM5.

Meeting Management – Infooment

The “Info Moment” section shows the pictures and the PDF defined in the configuration.

The “InfoMoment” is automatically shown from each of the SIM3 sections, after a period of inactivity defined in the Plant Parameters section (parameter Screensaver Time (seconds)).

  1. Select InfoMoment.

  2. Change scrolling visualization.

In the External Links section all the links defined in the “External Links” section of Plant Configuration are shown.

  1. Select the External link.

  2. The external links are predefined by the manager in the plant configuration.

Meeting Management – 5S Result

In the 5S SIM3 Results page it is possible to view the results of SIM1 5S checklists, consolidated by plant.

Meeting Management – eIdeas

  1. Select Ideas.

  2. Filters on top of the screen allow the user to apply further selections, over the main one related to the time:

    OPEN: all eIdeas excluding implemented or rejected

    MY SUBMITTED: eIdeas submitted by the logged user

    MY APPROVAL: eIdeas waiting for the approval of the logged user (as action owner, as direct manager or as key user)

    MY ACTION: eIdeas having the logged user as action owner and in “Implementing” status

    CLOSED: eIdeas implemented or rejected

    DELETED: all deleted eIdeas

    ALL: all eIdeas (deleted excluded)

  3. View the list of Ideas.

  4. It is possible to reassign en masse the manager of eIdeas with the function in the main window, selecting one or more current managers, and assigning all the eIdeas assigned to that manager and having the status “Waiting Manager (N+1)” to a new manager.

  5. It is possible to create New eIdeas.

  6. Select contextual menu to: Show eIdea- Edit eIdea- Delete eIdea.

  1. Open Issue popup.

  2. Enter Issue category, type and priority.

  3. Upload files.

  4. Contextual chat.

  5. Enter Opening and due date, status.

  6. Define Closed Action.

  7. 8. Save Issue.

  1. Open Action popup.

  2. Enter KPI category, prod area line.

  3. Upload files.

  4. Contextual chat.

  5. Set action due date, status and assign to a SIM or Gemba.

  6. Select or not "No escalation".

  7. View the Action History Log.

  8. Save.
