The features and functions in the application are based on user roles. Each user may belong to one or more roles. Each role may have multiple users.

Introduction

In the DLMO main page select SIM Boards folder.

Meeting Management - Main Section

SIM1 meeting is performed for each production line/cell and for each shift. SIM1 meeting is between 5 and 10 minutes and usually is done at the end of the shift, on the data of the current shift.

SIM1 meetings can be performed also at cell group level if properly configured in the application. A cell group is a group of lines and the SIM1 meeting is performed for all the grouped lines at the same time. Cell groups are used only to group together the lines/cells and are not used in any other module of the DLMO application.

In SIM1 board the KPIs granularity is shift: KPI values and target are input each shift by the user or calculated by DLMO.

1. To enter data in a SIM1, it is necessary to select the Production Area and the Line/Cell or Cell Group. DLMO will propose the current date (it can be changed), and the current shift (if any) selected by the shift planned for the line/cell for the current date in Plant configuration.

2. It's possible to visualize and manage Safety Cross data for the line, and visualize Safety Cross data for the plant. Double-click on squares to create incidents (red), 1 time for near miss (blue)

3. View Actions and Barriers KPIs.

4. View KPIs based on the SIM1 selection.

5. Double-click on the value cell to add the actual value and check or change the target. If the value is out of target (above or below, according to the specific KPI rule) it is highlighted in red.

   Users can change the value for Automatic KPI (shown in gray italic) but DLMO will recover the original value after the data refresh. Target for automatic values are inserted by the users.

SIM 1 - Barriers

Barriers are mainly used in SIM1 Board, where they are created (or shown if coming from LDS) and inquired.

In the Barriers Overview section is possible to query all the Barriers created in the time frame selected on the top.

1. Select Barriers.

2. Clicking on the icon, is possible to view and edit the actions associated with the barrier whose number is shown in the last column of the view:

• Have barriers without any action associated

• Have barriers with one or more actions associated

1. Create a new Barrier.

2. Edit an existing barrier, create an action or associate an existing action:

   • is used to edit the selected barrier
   • is used to create an action associated to the barrier

Associate Actions

1. Select the icon "Associate Action" from the grid.

2. Select the action to associated from the dropdown

3. Click save

Meeting Management - Actions

1. Select Actions

2. Change the Action visualization.

3. The buttons:

   • is used to edit the selected barrier
   • is used to escalate an action to the following SIM (not for SIMSF)
   • is used to associate an existing action to the barrier
4. Create a new action.

Meeting Management – Walk By

1. Select Walk-by.

2. Enter user name of the walking by manager and update.

Meeting Management – InfoMoment

1. Select InfoMoment.

2. Change scrolling visualization.

Meeting Management - KPI Excel Update

Is it possible to import the data with an Excel file in the “Excel Update” page.

1. Select KPI Excel Update.

2. It is necessary to download the template, fill the data and upload the file with the new values.

3. Is it possible to import the data with an Excel file.

Meeting Management - External Link

In the External Links section all the links defined in the “External Links” section of Plant Configuration are shown.

Meeting Management - 5s Checklist

In the 5S Checklist section it is possible to compile, if configured, the 5S checklist for the SIM1.

1. Select 5S Checklist.

2. Select Owner.

3. Select Start Checklist to start the Inquiry

Meeting Management - 5s Results

In the 5S SIM1 Results page it is possible to view the results of checklists.

Result: is calculated as Number Ok results / Number of questions (in %). Not filled checks are considered as not Ok results.

Cell background color:

• Gray: no checklist executed

• Red : from 0% to 69%

• Yellow : from 70% to 89%

• Green : from 90% to 100%

Extra Info *: means that there are checklists not started for at least one shift, regardless of the results.

Meeting Management - eIdeas

When you access the eIdeas section, DLMO shows all the open eIdeas inserted in the last 6 months.

Functionalities on the eIdea module change depending on the user ID. There are different flows if the user ID starts with SESA (typically associated with a named user) or with SESI (typically associated with an unnamed user, like the production line).

1. Select eIdeas.

2. Filters on top of the screen allow the user to apply further selections, over the main one related to the time:

   • OPEN: all eIdeas excluding implemented or rejected

   • MY SUBMITTED: eIdeas submitted by the logged user

   • MY APPROVAL: eIdeas waiting for the approval of the logged user (as action owner, as direct manager or as key user)

   • MY ACTION: eIdeas having the logged user as action owner and in “Implementing” status

   • CLOSED: eIdeas implemented or rejected

   • DELETED: all deleted eIdeas

   • ALL: all eIdeas (deleted excluded)

3. It is possible to reassign en masse the manager of eIdeas with the function in the main window, selecting one or more current manager(s), and assigning all the eIdeas assigned to that manager and having the status “Waiting Manager (N+1)” to a new manager.
